The task included:

• Design risk assessment in accordance with harmonized standards.
• Development and approval of design through DFMEA.
• Determination of load envelope for storage, road transport, SPMT transport and sea transport of tower sections.
• Design of all equipment in the UTTE package, including:
  • The tower transport equipment fitting all tower section of the MkV generation.
  • The interface frame allowing SPMT transport.
  • The anti-ovalization equipment at all tower sections.
  • The transport frame for the interface frame.
• Structural verification of all UTTE parts, encompassing structural strength, fatigue, stiffness of anti-ovalization, load spreading and fastening for road and sea transport.
• Cost-out evaluation with stakeholders.
• Development and approval of design through DFMEA.
• Test and approval of design and instructional handbook through FAT and SAT.
