Boat landing removal and reattachment solution

Design and verification of tools for boat landing removal + design and verification of reattachment solution for boat landing in the event that removal was not possible.

The task included:

  • 3D modelling and 2D drawings of lifting tool + reattachment solution
  • Creation of handling, mounting and lifting instructions.
  • Strength verification in accordance with DNV of lifting tools.
  • Strength and fatigue evaluation of plate and welds at reattachment solution based on DNV.
  • Detailed finite element analysis in ANSYS of tools and reattachment solution.
  • Reporting including utilization of all load carrying members.
