Traditional vs. non-traditional methods

Traditional concrete foundations are often crateated with buried rim foundation or pad foundations. In arctic areas wood is more suitable for foundation due to its poor thermal conductivity. On unstable surfaces floating foundations or pile foundations are useful. Pile foundation can be made with wooden piles, reinforced concrete piles, steel screw piles etc.

When untraditional methods are needed for a project, we design custom solutions for the specific task.
